CHRISTINE SNEED is the author of the novels PARIS, HE SAID and LITTLE KNOWN FACTS, and the story collections PORTRAITS OF A FEW OF THE PEOPLE I’VE MADE CRY and THE VIRGINITY OF FAMOUS MEN (Bloomsbury). Her work has been included in publications such as The Best American Short Stories, O. Henry Prize Stories, New Stories from the Midwest, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune, New England Review, The Southern Review, and O Magazine. She received the Grace Paley Prize for Short Fiction, the 21st Century Award from the Chicago Public Library Foundation, the Chicago Writers’ Association Book of the Year Award, the Society of Midland Authors’ Award, an O. Henry Prize, and Ploughshares’ Zacharis Award. She has also been a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the Chicago Review Fiction Award. CARRIE BLANK is a New York filmmaker drawn to stories about people not usually represented by mainstream media. Her short films have appeared on American Playhouse, The Sundance Channel, Showtime, PBS, and abroad, appeared in more than 50 film festivals and won numerous awards. She has taught film and video production and screenwriting and currently works as a director, videographer and editor.
